On another subject - and I sighted a lady with MY camera today, that’s right, MINE! The camera I was suppose to get for my real birthday back in March!! My DH promised me one but when the time came ’round a family expense came up - that’s my luck! So anyway - this woman was in our yard taking photos of her kids by our stone wall by one of our ponds! Apparently she was told by someone (our neighbor I think) it would be OK to do that. I have no objections to that - her pix were so good (she showed me)!! I wish I would have thought to get her info so I could show y’all her results! Maybe my neighbor knows? Anywho, she had MY camera - now I want my Cannon DSLR even more than before my birthday!!! But she did inspire me to take my kids on a photo shoot this weekend at Cyprus Gardens (local park). I just hope it doesn’t rain now!

Brag Book from Cutieful Doodelful Youville
Amysout here! Hopefully, this is one of many post that if you follow, you’ll be able to get a nifty 4×6 Brag Book made from the fun kit Cutieful Doodleful Youville. The idea is that each day (or couple days) one of the Polka Dot Plum CT members will post a new page for your Brag Book! I know my mother will appreciate the Brag Book I’ll be sending to her - I just have to gather photos of her grandkids from across the U.S.!
The first page is meant for those 3×5 school pictures - but you can put what ever photos you want to in there!

Hello everyone! Melanie here for a late night Sunday Spotlight! This week we are spotlighting Cristina…
How and when did you start scrapping?
I started scrapping when I was putting together my wedding album. DH and I had a very small ceremony and we didn’t have a professional photographer, and the pictures taken by our family were all pretty poor. 
So I started editing them and I discovered scrapbooking - it was July 2007! I finished the wedding album and didn’t scrap for a few months, but since 2008 I’ve become an addict and I believe I’ll never stop!
What’s your favorite product by Polka Dot Plum?
We Give Thanks is my favorite kit!!
What inspires you to scrap?
DH and our story, I like to scrap the big and small adventures of our life.
What do you listen to when you scrap?
I need silence, otherwise I get distracted!
What’s your favorite technique?
Hmm.. Not sure! I like learning new things. The thing I give most importance to is good shadows - I go for a realistic feel. I also started hybrid a few months ago and I really love it!
When your scrapping mojo is gone what do you do to find your groove again?
If I’m not in the mood for scrapping, I don’t, but that happens rarely. Browsing scrapbooking galleries and looking for inspirations and partecipating to challenges is the best way to learn new things.
If you could meet one of your digi friends in person, who would it be?
I would love to meet the PDP team! Amy and Lauren are so nice and it would be great to meet them in person.
Do you snack while you’re scrapping and if so what’s your favorite?
I don’t snack, because my favorite snack is chips and it’s too messy to eat while I’m at the computer! 
When you’re not scrapping, what do you like to do?
Take pictures, read, sleep, eat. And of course spend time with DH.
Tell us one item that you dislike or find impossible to scrap with.
I’m not comfortable using frames. I usually just leave my pictures frameless or matted.
What does your family think about your scrapping?
DH is fabulous. He’s really supportive and gave me my 1st serious camera for Christmas so I could take good pictures to scrap! He only gets frustrated at times because I insist on asking his advice when I’m scrapping, and he is generally clueless. But he’s a sweetie!
Show us your favorite layout?
I love this LO of DH done with Holly Jolly Christmas (my 2nd favorite kit by Amy&Lauren, by the way!).
